Ravinder is native Punjabi and she graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, Punjab, India with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) and Master's (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology. After completing her M.Sc in Aquatic Toxicology from UPEI, she is currently persuing PhD in the department of Pathology and Microbiology under the supervision of Dr. Spencer Greenwood (Lobster Science Centre) and Paula Jackman (Environment Canada). In collaboration with Environment Canada and Atlantic Veterinary College, her research focuses on developmental studies in wood frogs (Lithobates sylvaticus) and will shed light on endocrine disrupting mechanisms of extensively used pesticide, endosulfan. |
