Dan Hines is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick. He graduated with a BPhil in Leadership Studies and a BSc in Biology from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. He is beginning his MSc under the supervision of Dr. Spencer Greenwood at the Lobster Science centre. His project is focused on discovering genes specifically associated with moult cycling in larval lobster. This project is part of a larger ongoing project investigating possible changes in moult cycle and timing of Atlantic Lobster.
