The up-coming ICWL will provide an unmatched opportunity for researchers, managers and industry professionals to discuss worldwide trends in lobster fisheries, management as well as lobster biology and health. In addition to scientists and managers participating in the conference, there is interest from industry representatives from as far as Australia to attend this conference and to hold meetings with their Canadian and American peers.  Therefore, we are also organizing an Industry Day during the ICWL, with presentations on lobster biology 101, as well as presentations on fishery management measures from the Canadian, USA, Australian, European, South African and New Zealand perspectives.
